    Issue: on certain trucks, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. as a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. safety risk: a loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. corrective actions: mack will contact owners by mail. the corrective actions for this recall are under development.
