  • USA Recall: If a spark or flame is in close proximity, it couldresult in an explosion.
    The manifold holes of the batteries were not plugged and could allow hydrogen and oxygen gas to escape in an uncontrolled manner.

    Corrective Action:
    Install manifold plugs in the batteries.

    Additional Notes:
    System: battery.equipment description: group 48 and group 49 batteries with the "interstate"logo.
