  • USA Recall: Abrasion of the battery cable will eventually cause ashort circuit and may result in an electrical fire in the engine compartment.
    The steel braiding on the power steering hose may abrade the battery cable.

    Corrective Action:
    Reroute the power steering hoses and secure the battery cables to prevent movement.

    Additional Notes:
    System: steering.vehicle description: buses with caterpillar 3208 rear engines.
