  • USA Recall: An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as a hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.
    Bmw of north america, llc (bmw) is recalling certain 2024 bmw 430i convertible vehicles. the cylinder head cover may develop cracks, resulting in oil leaking into engine compartment.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will inspect and replace the cylinder head cover as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed february 14, 2024. owners may contact bmw customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
