  • USA Recall: This can result in a separation of the wheel cover, increasing the risk of property damage to following vehicles.
    Vehicle description: recreational vehicle chassis. the components that retain the rear axle wheel covers may have been damaged during installation.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will replace the wheel covers with a different design that has an improved means of retention.

    Additional Notes:
    Owner notification began december 2000.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
