  • USA Recall: This could result in impaired braking ability and a possible crash.
    Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. the front lower brake hoses can develop a crack, causing a loss of brake fluid.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will replace the left and right lower brake hoses.

    Additional Notes:
    Owner notification began september 20, 2000. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact mitsubishi at 1-800-222-0037. also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
