  • USA Recall: A loss of air on the inner tire could overload the outer tire if undetected, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Vehicle description: rv chassis. the valve stem on the rear inner tire could rub against the wheel and develop a leak.

    Corrective Action:
    Dealers will install a valve stem extension stabilizer.

    Additional Notes:
    Owner notification began april 3, 2001. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712. also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
