  • UK Recall: Incorrect driveshaft may detach
    >A number of vehicles specified with automatic transmissions may have been fitted with the incorrect specification rear driveshaft. the incorrect driveshaft length is shorter. the driver may experience underbody noise and/or notice an oil leak. in extreme cases the driveshaft may detach from the differential and as a result the vehicle would lose drive which can increase the risk of a vehicle crash.

    Corrective Action:
    Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check if the correct driveshaft is fitted. if not already fitted fit the correct driveshaft.
