  • UK Recall: Luggage carrier may detach
    >Vehicle operation can cause the threaded fasteners of the luggage carrier (optional accessory) to lose their preload and in the course of time these fasteners can work loose. there is a possibility of the luggage carrier detaching itself from the vehicle if loosened threaded fasteners remain unnoticed.

    Corrective Action:
    Recall all the vehicles that are likely to be affected to ascertain whether a luggage carrier is fitted. all luggage carriers installed on vehicles will be re-secured with thread-locking compound applied to the threaded fasteners with replacement of brackets as necessary.
