• Recall 18078 [USA]: The safety belts would not provide adequate protection to an occupant in a vehicle crash.
  The front safety belt buckle release buttons can break. These red plastic release buttons are marked "press." if a button breaks, pieces can fall into the buckle assembly causing the buckle to operate improperly.
  owners should promptly check the condition and operation of both front safety belt buckles. Carefully inspect the red release button for any breaks or cracks. Check that both buckles are operating properly by inserting each latch plate into its buckle, tug on the belt to make sure the latch is securely locked, then press the release button. The latch plate should pop out of the buckle when the button is pressed. If either release button shows any sign of breakage or cracking, or if either buckle fails to operate properly, promptly contact your authorized honda/acura dealer to schedule an appointment to have the buckle replaced or repaired, free of charge. The manufacturer is developing a remedy designed to prevent the failure of the buttons that are not currently broken.

• Recall 25653 [USA]: Hitch tow bar could separate from the vertical mountingplate, resulting in tow bar attachment failure and separation of trailer fromtow vehicle without warning.

1991 acura......Automatic seatbelt does not work. Consumer took vehicle to a mechanic and the employee said that the seatbelt should be replaced for free. *tr

Bolt holding a/c belt tension pully sheared off causing entire assembly to fall off car and go bouncing across interstate. Dislodged p/s belt causing failure of power steering. This is the second failure of this component since 1996.

Driver's side lap belt buckle assembly fails to stay locked. Recall 95v103001 repairs were performed in 1996. Dealership has not examined vehicle for current problem. *ak consumer states shoulder belt on drivers side is defective and loose. *slc

While driving about 65 mph tried to open sunroof, and it almost flew out of vehicle without prior warning. Had to be replaced.*ak *slc

Consumer purchased two new firestone firehawk tires which were mounted on the front, consumer drove vehicle 24 miles when the right front tire separated causing temporary loss of control, no collision. *mjs

Automatic seat belt suddenly releases in multiple situations: upon sudden stops, while driving at verious speeds, going over "small" bumps in road. Someimes automatic seatbelt won't engage upon shutting door. Prior to this the seat belt had the opposite problem...Since 1991 seatbelt occasionally tightened and pinned driver to the seat needing to be released by the emergency release button..

I purchased four new toyo tires app. One year ago. This sept. My mechanic informed me that 3 of the 4 tires had serious sidewall defects causing "bubbles" and the danger of sudden deflation and loss of control of the vehicle.Toyo tires has not seemed part( dot number: cxdf22m047 tire size: p195/60r14 )

Transmission will not shift when cold. Stays in low gear.

Blower fan stuck at low speed. Switch position makes no change except when in off position. Fuses all okay and fan motor problem maybe. Strong electrical smell anytime fan is turned on. No smoke in interior though.
