My rack and pinion is also causing me problems. It has become very difficult to steer- more so to one side than the other. A friend of the family also owns a vigor near to the same year as mine and their rack is bad as well and causes some bad vibrations. I am working now to see if there have been any recalls issued for this problem. If anyone knows of any please let me know. *jb

While driving over any kind of bumpy surface/uneven pavement/ left turn or right turn, the steering wheel shakes and rattles. Manufacturer has diagnosed the problem as a steering rack rattle. The problem has not been corrected. *ak
