  Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2015-2016 american coach american heritage and american tradition motorhomes, 2015-2017 american coach american revolution and american coach american eagle motorhomes, 2016 american coach american allegiance motorhomes, 2016-2017 american coach american dream motorhomes and 2017 holiday rambler diplomat and holiday rambler scepter motorhomes. The support for the interior steps may have been inadequately secured, possibly resulting in the solid-surface step tread being unstable.
  rev will notify owners, and dealers will install new screws to properly secure the support for the interior steps, free of charge. The recall began on april 21, 2017. Owners may contact rev customer service at 1-800-509-3417. Rev's number for the recall is 170228rev.

• Recall 103867 [USA]: The weakened seat belt may fail to properly restrain the seat occupant in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
  Allied recreation group. Inc. (allied) is recalling certain model year 2015 american coach-brand american eagle, american tradition and american revolution motor homes equipped with certain villa iss powered driver and passenger gsk seats. The seat belt attachment may be incorrect and the seat belt may fray if it rubs along a steel bracket in the seat, reducing its strength. As such, these seats do not conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 209, "seat belt assemblies."
  allied will notify owners, and dealers will reinstall the seat belts using new fasteners. In addition, the seat belt webbing of the affected seats will be inspected and will be replaced if damage has resulted from an incorrect installation. Inspections and necessary repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on august 8, 2014. Owners may contact american coach customer service at 1-800-435-7345. • Recall 2018236 [Canada]: Steering
  On certain vehicles, a rubber-coated braided power steering hose may have inadequate clearance to the starter power stud due to incorrect routing. This could cause the power steering hose to rub against the stud on the starter motor, which could cause an electrical arc and a power steering fluid leak. A power steering leak in the presence of an electrical arc could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. A power steering fluid leak could also require additional steering effort which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: daimler trucks of north america service facilities will reroute the power steering hose to ensure proper clearance to starter stud.

  On certain motorhomes, the step tread of the interior entry steps may have been insufficiently supported during assembly. This could result in the step tread to potentially become unstable, which could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: dealers will install new screws to properly secure the horizontally mounted plywood cleats to the plywood supporting structure of the interior entry steps.

• Recall 2016480 [Canada]: Brakes
  On certain motorhomes equipped with a heavier weight adjustable straight foot pedal, the brake activation signal to the motorhome’s brake lights and to certain towed devices may not deactivate when the motorhome service brakes are released. This may cause the motorhome brake lights to potentially remain illuminated, which would result in the following road users being unaware of the driver's intentions. Additionally, if the brakes of a towed vehicle were to remained engaged, it could result in a loss of vehicle control. Both of these conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Daimler trucks north america authorized service facilities will replace the torsion spring of the pedal assembly with an improved spring.

My entrance door will lock sometimes when we leave the motor coach and will not respond to the fob or the door key, so we cannot get back into the coach. When we lock the door with the fob, the door will lock as it should. But upon return to the coach the door will not unlock with the fob or key. The locking mechanism is made by trimark company. I have called the company several times, and they explained to me that i should only use the fob and it should not occur. It still occurs with the fob. The coach is always parked in a safe position. *tt *tr
