Recall 15807 [USA]: This condition can lead to a brake hydraulic fluid leak and reduced braking performance.
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The bolts attaching the lower steering column to the intermediate steering coupling can contact the brake hydraulic system pipes located in the engine compartment. dealers will reposition the pipes to prevent contact between the pipes and bolts, and any damaged pipes will be replaced. owner notification is expected to begin during august 1997. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact rolls royce at 1-800-825-9360.Also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-800-424-9393.
Recall 19941 [USA]: If the fuse blows, the driver cannot change gears or place the vehicle in park. this condition can disable the vehicle transmission, increasing the potential for a vehicle accident.
An incorrectly positioned wire within the electrically operated gearbox actuator can chafe against the cover causing the transmission selector fuse to blow. dealers will reposition the affected wire to prevent contact with the gearbox actuator cover. system: power train; transmission; automatic.Vehicle description: sedan and limousines.Note: owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time, should contact rolls royce at 1-201-967-9100. Recall 17205 [USA]: Seat belt anchorage fracture could cause the release of the belt assembly during a vehicle impact increasing the potential for personal injury.
Both front seat belt lower anchorage rails have a manufacturing weakness which could fracture in a vehicle impact. dealers will replace the front seat belt lower anchorage rails. system: interior; seat tracks and anchors.Vehicle description: sedans.Note: owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time, should contact rolls royce at 1-201-967-9100. Recall 18638 [USA]: If a hydraulic fluid leak occurs, warning lights indicating loss of fluid and loss of system pressure will become illuminated. front brake effectiveness will be lost, although rear braking would remain unaffected.
The lower steering column linkage heat shield can come in contact with a brake hydraulic system pipe mounted to the engine assembly, eventually resulting in a hydraulic fluid leak. dealers will reposition the affected hydraulic pipe and replace any damaged pipe. system: brakes; hydraulic.Vehicle description: non-turbo charged passenger vehicles equipped with an integrated hydraulic braking and load leveling system.Note: if your vehicle is presented to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and the remedy is not provided free of charge within a reasonable time, please contact rolls-royce at 1-201-967-9100. The front seat belt lower attachment rail may be of insufficient strength and could fail in the event of an accident. recall the affected vehicles and replace the original seat belt attachment rail with a redesigned version.
Recall 1995169 [Canada]: Electrical
A wire inside the electric motor driven gearbox actuator may come into contact with the inner face of the assembly case, causing fretting of the wire and also causing the fuse protecting the circuit to blow if this occurs it would not be possible to engage the desired gear range and may not be possible to restart the vehicle after the engine has been switched off. If "park" is not engaged and the driver does not apply the parking brake, a roll away could occur. Correction: affected wire will be repositioned.
Recall 1995168 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
The seatbelt anchorage rails which secure the seatbelt assemblies to the floor, could fracture in a vehicle impact. If this occurs, the seatbelt could be released. Correction: seatbelt anchorage rails will be replaced.
