  • Recall 20911 [USA]: If the governor servo pin comes out while the engine isbeing operated, the fuel rate will not change and the truck will continue at theoperating speed even though the throttle pressure is decreased.
    The governor servo pin on the engine can come out while the engine is operating due to lack of an adequate press fit and/or inadequate staking at the end of the pin bore.
    rework the governors on the engines to prevent the loss of servo pins.

  • Recall 1992133 [Canada]: Fuel supply
    Subject engines may experience a loss of the governor servo pin. This would result in the engine and vehicle continuing at their respective speeds until a change in load occurs (i.E. Terrain, brakes or clutch) and engine braking could be reduced with a subsequent increase in stopping distance and the risk of a crash. Correction: the governor rack servo cylinder assembly will be replaced on affected engines.
