Pulled into driverway mashed gas . The throttle hung up could not get truck to turn off , tried to get truck turned off . Turned key off and took keys out of ignition and truck was still running and black smoke boiling from exhaust , truck would not turn off , finally had a pop and all the oil came out from under the truck. Then truck cut off .

The blower motor control resistor has melted the connection over 5 times and required a harness to be changed out along with the part 15-81773 resistor unit. All times i could smell burning plastic and then the blower would stop ( no heat or ac). What i have read that gm will not fix the problem that could cause a fire and trap personnel in the truck or any other vehicles that is having the same problem.
