• Recall 89660 [USA]: This condition may cause inadequate sealing and loss of engine oil, possibly resulting in a fire.
  Certain honeywell fram racing brand hp4 and hp8 oil filters that were manufactured from may 25, 2006, through september 14, 2007, and sold for use as replacement equipment for vehicles list above. The affected filters are marked with a date code a61451 through a72571 sequentially. The date code and part number appear on the filter housing. Fram racing hp4 and hp8 oil filters not bearing a date code in this range are not affected by this recall. The gasket of the oil filter becomes more pliable under high temperatures and pressures.
  honeywell will replace the affected oil filters free of charge. The recall began during november 2007. Owners can contact fram customer service toll-free at 1-800-890-2075.

• Recall 59673 [USA]: This condition may cause an inadequate seal at the connection, potentially leading to a fuel leak. in the presence of an ignition source, a fire could occur.
  Certain replacement fuel filters, fram brand name p/n g3727, with date codes x52911 through x60801 sequentially or x600141 and a mexico country or origin marking on the fuel filter housing manufactured from october 18, 2005, through march 21, 2006, sold for use on the vehicles listed above and on certain school buses. (to see the school bus engine sizes, click on "document search" and then "bus applications"). The connector on the fuel filter was not manufactured to honeywell's specification. As a result, the o-ring may not seat correctly on the fuel line.
  honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. The recall began on october 18, 2006. Owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (option 1).

• Recall 16984 [USA]: This damage to the tire reinforcing structure in the bead "toe" area causes a bulge in the sidewall after the tire is inflated. this condition will result in a slow air loss causing the tire to go flat. however, it is possible for the damage to result in a rapid air loss causing injuries to anyone if they were handling the tire when this occurred.
  These tires have bead damage which occured during tire mounting.
  dealers will demount each tire and inspect for bead damage. If bead damage is found, the tire will be replaced.

• Recall 16648 [USA]: This condition can cause transmission oil to sprayonto the exhaust system and result in a possible vehicle fire.
  Due to a thin case casting, an external transmission leak can occur.
  dealers will inspect the transmission case assembly for the involved case casting. If the assembly is involved, the transmission will be replaced.

Tl* the contact owns a 1995 chevrolet g30. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the front driver side ball joint fractured. The vehicle was towed to a local mechanic who advised that the ball joint was fractured and also caused the tie rod to fracture. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 254,000.

Windshield wiper function is erratic - works some times, doesn't work other times. I took it into local dealer when a former gm employee informed me about a recall re: this malfunction, and gm dealer stated they could not locate part recall information. *nm

Windshield wipers failed intermittently . A recall was issued; however this vehicle was not included due to vin. *ak

Brake system components replaced prior to m/c assembly. Parts replaced included padsand shoes/rear cylinder,drag link, pitman arm. *ak

I have asked other owners of the same type of vehicle if they have these problems and several of them have the same problems i have. No defect (s) listed in rhe summary. *ak

Intermittently when the brakes are applied the pedal becomes hard , resulting in extended stopping distance, causing a collision. *ak

Anti lock brakes failed several times in an emergency application.

Abs problems, intermittently when applying the brakes on any type of road conditions, mostly when wet, the abs light comes on and vehicle will pull to the right or left. Taken to dealership (3) times, cannot find the problem. *ak

Upon frontal impact, drivers side air bag failed to deploy. Please describe details. Tt
