Pressed the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. After inspection i found that the rear steel brake line failed. If i had not been pulling down the driveway when this happened and on the street i may have crashed as a result. The failure point is right beside the diesel tank on the frame rail. *tr

I have a 1999 chevrolet gmt-400 pickup with abs brakes. The abs sensor is defective, causing the abs to activate at low speeds,such as in parking lots. I have had a lot of close calls due to this manufacturing defect. General motors corporation had a recall on 1999 chevy silverados due to this manufacturing defect. They removed and cleaned the abs sensors and coated them with a substance to prevent future rusting of the components. I went to a chevrolet dealership to check on this recall for my vehicle. I was told it was not covered under the recall. I believe the braking system is the same as the 1999 chevy silverado and should have been included in this recall. I live in the so called "rust belt " area included in the recall. Please look into this matter for me. Thank you. *jb

Consumer noticed gas dripping from the tank, took to service station he was told that the tank was severely dented and had ruptured, replaced fuel tank. A few weeks later the same thing happened and fuel replaced fuel tank. *yd
