• Recall 127385 [USA]: An unsecured battery tray can cause a battery acid leak or an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire or injury.
  Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2013-2015 fleetwood bounder and 2013-2016 fleetwood southwind recreational vehicles. The welds attaching the battery tray may be insufficient. As a result, the tray may separate from underneath the chassis.

• Recall 122137 [USA]: If the fuel pump or filter detach or become loose, a fuel leak may result, which in the presence of an ignition source, can increase the risk of a fire or explosion.
  Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2015 fleetwood bounder classic motorhomes, 2015-2016 fleetwood terra motorhomes, 2016-2017 fleetwood storm, holiday rambler admiral xe and fleetwood flair motorhomes, and 2017 holiday rambler vacationer xe motorhomes. The affected vehicles, equipped with an onan 5.5 kilowatt generator, have an external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter that may be improperly secured to the chassis.
  rev will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the mounting of the generator's external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter, securing them as necessary, free of charge.   Allied recreational group, inc. (arg) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 fleetwood bounder classic recreational vehicles manufactured april 10, 2013, to august 7, 2014. Due to insufficient structural reinforcement at the installation area, a grab bar can be pulled loose in the affected vehicles.

• Recall 2017549 [Canada]: Structure
  On certain vehicles, weld securing the battery tray to the chassis may fail. This could cause the battery tray to separate from the chassis, potentially resulting in an electrical short, battery acid leak, or road debris endangering other road users. This could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect the battery tray and and install additional fasteners if necessary.

• Recall 2017157 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  On certain motorhomes equipped with onan 5.5 kilowatt efi generators, the external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter for the generator may be improperly secured to the underside of the motorhome chassis. If the fuel pump, fuel filter, or connected fuel lines were to detach or are jarred loose, a fuel leak may result, which in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect the mounting of the generator’s external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter, and if necessary, properly secure the fuel pump's mounting bracket to the chassis frame and secure the fuel filter lines with insulated clamps, as required.

  On certain motorhomes, a grab bar mounted to the inside of the sidewall has inadequate structural reinforcement at the installation area. This may allow the grab bar to be pulled loose from the wall during use, which could result in a fall and/or injury. Correction: dealers will remove and reinstall the grab bar so that it is mounted to a reinforcement steel plate.

• Recall 2014467 [Canada]: Brakes
  On certain motorhomes built on an ford f-53 chassis, the brake caliper piston bore may be out-of-round causing the piston seal to leak brake fluid. If the caliper piston seal is leaking, it could result in longer brake pedal travel and increased stopping distances, which may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect all four brake calipers, and replace as necessary.

The dometic wind pro 9100 awning unfolded while drive and caused 9000 thousand dollars of damage to my fleetwood bounder 35 k rv. This awning was recalled in 2013. It occurred again. The rv was traveling at 65 mph on the korean war memorial highway in delaware, exit 136.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 fleetwood bounder. Upon turning the key, the starter cranked but there was no power to the engine. The contact was in the process of having the vehicle towed when it was noticed that there was excessive fuel leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that squirrels chewed the fuel lines and further testing was required to determine if they could provide a solution to prevent the failure. The dealer mentioned that the failure may have impacted the electrical system and the engine. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer. The failure mileage was not available.

Upon arriving home in south bend, indiana from a trip to san antonio, texas the entry steps did not deploy when i opened the door to step out. A closer look revealed the steps did not deploy because welds in two corners of the battery box that hold the battery box in place had failed allowing the battery box to drop down onto the steps and some wires that ran beneath it. The coach battery box holds two 80 pound deep cycle batteries. The battery box is located inches forward t of lp gas tank and a copper gas line. Our trip ended prior to the forward welds failing which could have resulted in the battery box rupturing the lp gas tan. See attached photos. After i realized what had happened i called the dealership and they picked up the motorhome. After the dealer's service manager spoke with someone at fleetwood, fleetwood authorized transport of the vehicle from the dealership in goshen indiana to their manufacturing facility in decatur indiana for inspection and repairs. The vehicle (motorhome) is waiting at the dealership to be picked up at this time. Updated 12/10/15*lj *tr

Drivers side seat belt shoulder harness retaining bolt became detached from the wall allowing the shoulder harness to drop to the floor. The vehicle was stopped in a rest area on interstate 35 north of austin texas. It became detached as i was putting on my seat belt. From what i can tell the retaining bolt was not torqued down. I reinstalled the bolt by hand as tight as i could get it. When i returned home the dealership picked up the motorhome for another safety related incident unrelated to the seat belt. Fleetwood has authorized transport of the vehicle from the dealership in goshen indiana to their manufacturing facility in decatur indiana for inspection and repairs.
