On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "prnd321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. Correction: ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.

As a result, the tires may be under-inflated, or the vehicle may inadvertently be fitted with incorrect replacement tires and wheels. Overloaded tires may lead to poor vehicle handling characteristics, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.
