The entry step to the motorhome lacks sufficient support and may become damaged by repeated use. fleetwood rv will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, reinforce the step structural support. Recall 72186 [USA]: If the entry door and the door side bedroom emergency egress windows are blocked, there is no way out of the motor home increasing the risk of personal injury.
Fleetwood rv is recalling certain model year 2010 encounter and model year 2011 storm 28ms class a motor homes manufactured from december 16, 2009 through july 1, 2010. An emergency egress window was not installed in the road side bedroom wall. In the event of a fire or other emergency, persons in the bedroom area must exit through the door side bedroom emergency egress window or through the forward entry door. dealers will remove the existing road side window and replace it with an emergency egress window. The lpg supply lines for the water heater and furnace that are routed through a hole in the floor may become damaged by sharp edges if unprotected. dealers will inspect the lpg supply lines, and install wire looms and secure the supply lines as necessary free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during may 2010. Fleetwood rv is recalling certain model year 2010-2011 bounder classic 30t and model year 2010 encounter 28ms, 30sa and 32bh class a motor homes manufactured february 26, 2010 through june 17, 2010 for failing to comply with the requirements of part 567,"certification." the federal certification tag was printed with an incorrect front and rear tire psi. fleetwood will mail correct federal certification tags to dealers and owners along with installation instructions. If customers do not feel comfortable installing the tags they may take their motor home to any fleetwood dealer and they will perform this service free of charge. Recall 2012372 [Canada]: Structure
On certain motorhomes, the entry step cage may separate from the subfloor due to insufficient structural support. This could increase the risk of injury and/or property damage. Correction: dealers will inspect and reinforce, repair or replace entry step support components as necessary.
Recall 2012088 [Canada]: Other
On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "prnd321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. With no gear indication, the operator may inadvertently select an incorrect gear, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.
Recall 2010131 [Canada]: Label
On certain vehicles, the tire pressure information label contains incorrect front and rear tire pressure rating information. The correct front tire pressure rating is 95 psi and the rear tire pressure rating is 100 psi. Incorrect tire label information may lead to under-inflation of tires which could affect the vehicle stability and result in a loss of control. A loss of control may result in a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: dealers will replace incorrect labels.
Recall 2010213 [Canada]: Other
On certain motorhomes, an emergency egress window was not installed in the bedroom. In the event of an emergency evacuation, not having an egress window may increases the risk of personal injury or death. Correction: dealers will replace the current window with an emergency egress window.
