Fleetwood Pace Arrow 2019

• Recall 153690 [USA]: If the bracket contacts the battery terminal it may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2019-2020 fleetwood pace arrow motorhomes, models 33d, 36u, 35qs, 35s, 35rb and 35e. The auxiliary batteries, located inside the interior step compartment, were secured in place with a metal hold-down bracket secured with carriage bolts and standard nuts. This hardware may loosen and allow the metal hold-down bracket to shift or move and make contact with the battery terminals.
  rev will notify owners, and dealers will install replacement battery hold-down mounting hardware, free of charge. The recall began september 17, 2020. Owners may contact rev customer service at 1-800-509-3417. Rev's number for this recall is 200728rev.

  Issue: certain motorhomes built on a freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted power distribution module (pdm). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: this recall replaces fl-856 (transport canada recall 2020-337). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety risk: brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: rev group will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  Issue: on certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: this recall replaces fl-861 (transport canada recall 2020-493). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety risk: a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.   Issue: on certain motorhomes, the bracket that secures the auxiliary batteries (located inside the interior step compartment) could loosen over time. As a result, the bracket could move and make contact with the battery terminals. This could cause a short circuit. If this happens, the battery may become hot and may begin to smoke and/or create an odor. Safety risk: a short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: rev recreation group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the battery hold-down fastening hardware.

This letter will instruct owners to take their motorhome to a dtna authorized service facility to replace the pdm.
