The floor may have improperly sealed holes that could allow gases such as carbon monoxide to enter the living area. dealers will reseal the floor area, free of charge. Recall 115296 [USA]: If the generator exhaust pipe is damaged, it may cause carbon monoxide to enter the vehicle, increasing the risk of an injury or death.
Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2016-2020 fleetwood bounder, holiday rambler vacationer, and 2018-2020 fleetwood southwind motorhomes. The generator exhaust pipe placement exits the motorhome within the vehicle's departure angle. rev will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, replace and reroute the generator exhaust pipe, free of charge. Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2018 fleetwood axon and pulse, holiday rambler reno and prodigy, monaco marquis and american coach american dream motorhomes, 2017-2018 fleetwood bounder, discovery, discovery lxe, flair, jamboree, southwind, pace arrow, pace arrow lxe and storm motorhomes, holiday rambler admiral xe, endeavor, endeavor xe, navigator xe, navigator, vacationer, vacationer xe and vesta and american coach american eagle motorhomes and 2017 holiday rambler scepter, monaco diplomat, and american coach american revolution motorhomes. The mounting screws for the satellite dish may not have been fastened through the sheet steel reinforcement, possibly allowing the satellite dish to detach from the roof while driving. rev will notify owners, and dealers will resecure the satellite dish to the roof with a metal reinforcement, free of charge. The satellite dish on these vehicles may detach from the roof while driving and become a road hazard. rev will notify owners, and dealers will resecure the satellite dish to the roof with a metal reinforcement, free of charge. Recall 2021420 [Canada]: Structure
Issue: on certain motorhomes, some openings in the floor may not be properly sealed. This could allow exhaust gases and carbon monoxide to enter the motorhome. Safety risk: a build-up of carbon monoxide inside the motorhome could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective actions: rev group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer for an inspection. Any openings in the floor will be sealed. The company recommends that you should also check to ensure that the carbon monoxide detector is working properly, and that it has not passed its expiration date.
Recall 2019636 [Canada]: Accessories
Issue: on certain motorhomes, the generator exhaust pipe may be routed incorrectly. This could cause it to be damaged or sheared off if the motorhome is driven on an incline. Safety risk: a damaged or missing generator exhaust pipe may allow carbon monoxide to enter the motorhome. This could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the generator exhaust pipe with a redesigned pipe that exits at the rear of the motorhome.
Recall 2018201 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain motorhomes, the satellite dish was not properly secured to the roof and may come loose or detach. If the satellite dish were to detach from the roof, it could create a road hazard and could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect and secure the satellite dish to the roof with metal reinforcement brackets and rivets as necessary.
