Recall 2012088 [Canada]: Other
On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "prnd321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. With no gear indication, the operator may inadvertently select an incorrect gear, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.
Recall 2011207 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain motorhomes, a wire harness mounted under the vehicle may contact the right exhaust manifold heat shield. Should the wire harness become damage, it could result in an electrical short, which could cause intermittent operation of the electrical systems (wipers, lights, etc.), vehicle shut-down, and/or lead to a fire. Loss of windshield wiping capability, should it occur during a rainy/snowy day, may compromise the driver's ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash. Failure of the lighting system may result in the following road users being unaware of the driver's intentions, as well as reducing vehicle conspicuity during hours of darkness, which could increase the risk of a crash. Engine stalling would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire. These issues could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the wiring harness. In addition, the harness will be re-routed to ensure sufficient clearance to the heat shield.
Recall 2010400 [Canada]: Brakes
On certain motorhomes, the brake calipers may stick in the applied position. This can result in abnormal heat generation at the wheel end which, if undetected, could eventually lead to soft brake pedal condition due to brake fluid boil. Extended stopping distances may result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: dealers will replace the brake calipers.
Recall 2010401 [Canada]: Lights and instruments
On certain motorhomes the high-beam and low-beam headlights are not in the correct positions as specified by canada motor vehicle safety standard 108 - lighting system and retroreflective devices. According to the standard, the lower beam should be provided by the outboard light source (or the upper one if arranged vertically), and the upper beam should be provided by the inboard light source (or the lower one if arranged vertically). Correction: dealers will remove the existing high-beam and low-beam headlamps and replace them with different low-beam and high-beam headlamps in order to comply with the standard.
Recall 2010409 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain motorhomes, the atwood 35-series range oven, model number beginning with rv1735, rv2135, ra1735, or ra2135, may develop a small crack within the line delivering gas to the oven cavity burner. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire and/or explosion, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the oven supply tube.

Tl*the contact owns a 2011 fleetwood terra motor home. While driving 60 mph in rainy weather conditions he turned the windshield wipers on and the top of the blade blocked his vision as they moved back and forth. The contact stated that he could not adjust the seat; therefore, he had to lower his head in order to see the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the failure. The dealer advised him that there was nothing they could do because they were designed that way. He called the manufacturer and was advised that the windshield wipers did meet the federal requirements. The failure mileage was 900 and the current mileage was 3,937.
