• Recall R/2007/169 [UK]: Roll over protection may fail
  It has been identified that on affected vehicles the roll over protection system securing bolts may either be loose or not fully tight. In this condition the roll over protection may not be fully effective in the event of a roll over occurring.
  recalled vehicles will have the protection units checked for the correct number of securing bolts with bolts being installed as necessary. In addition all securing bolts will be checked to ensure that they are tightened to the correct specification.

Ford focus. Consumer writes in regards to acceleration causes transmission hesitation. Consumer states assessment reveals clutch failure. *smd the consumer noticed some slight slipping and some hesitation when attempting to accelerate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, when an inspection revealed the clutch was failing and it needed to be replaced. *jb

Ford focus. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle capless fuel tank system. *smd the consumer believed a child's hand or finger could get caught in the gas tank fill pipe. Also, water and sand could collect inside.

Vehicle's sensors keep going out. *mr the vehicle had to be taken to the shop about every two weeks for the same problem. *sc *jb

Consumer loss control of the vehicle, and the air bags did not deploy.*jb

While driving, consumer states vehicle stalled, vehicle was restarted twice and the engine idled smoothly but stalled each time in less than one minute, the vehicle was towed to dealership and consumer was informed that the problem could not be duplicated, the problem happened again and consumer was told that problem still could not be found.*jb

Vehicle is experiencing transmission problems, when the accelerator is pressed, the vehicle won't go, the gears have a hard time adjusting in between gears. *slc

There is a squeak in the rear passenger side, the dealer ordered parts for a quarter trim panel, however the wrong side was ordered and the problem has not yet been fixed because the correct parts have not come in.
