• Recall 91186 [USA]: A wheelchair occupant may defeat or ride over the insufficiently latched roll stop. if this occurs when the lift platform is in an elevated position, the wheelchair?s occupant could fall and sustain injury.
  Main mobility is recalling certain conversion vans built on model year 2008-2010 chevrolet express, 2009 gmc savana, and 2010 ford transit connect chassis, and fitted with certain braun wheelchair lifts. Over time and with frequent use, the roll stop latches on the wheelchair lift?S outer barrier may become bent or misaligned.

• Recall 68402 [USA]: In the event of a vehicle crash, an occupant could be at an increased risk of injury.
  Ford is recalling certain model year 2010 transit connect vehicles manufactured from december 5, 2008 through may 31, 2010 for failing to meet the minimum requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 201, "occupant protection in interior impact." during vehicle testing the vehicle exceeded head injury criteria requirements set by the standard. The headliner retention pushpin located on the headliner above the b-pillar trim on both the left and right side of the vehicles needs to be replaced.

• Recall R/2013/007 [UK]: Brake fluid may leak - braking efficiency may be affected
  The rear brake pipe bracket to axle securing bolt may fail due to inconsistencies in bolt manufacture. Low clamp load of the joint could lead to bolt failure and subsequent fatigue failure of the rear brake bundy pipe. This would result loss of brake fluid and significantly reduced brake performance (single circuit brake operation only and soft brake pedal).

2010 ford transit connect 120,000 miles pulled driver door (electric lock) latch handle to exit vehicle. Upon pulling the door latch handle a very loud buzz lasting for approximately 1 to 2 seconds came from the driver door. I remained in the vehicle and closed the driver door and pressed the door lock mechanism and all doors locked. I then pulled on the driver door latch handle to unlock the doors which resulted in the same loud buzz from the driver's door. I exited the vehicle and locked it using the key fob. Upon returning to the vehicle i unlocked it using the key fob and again a very loud buzz came from the driver door. It was apparent this loud buzz only emanated when the automatic door locks were commanded unlocked, no noise while moving to the locked position. I entered the vehicle to drive home, all doors locked automatically as designed. After parking i pulled on the driver door latch to open the door. No loud buzz, however the latch did not release and the door would not open. The interior door latch lever now offered resistance, which is abnormal. I lowered the driver door window and tried, unsuccessfully, to open the door from the outside. I also tried unlocking the driver door using the key fob to unlock/lock repeatedly, also unsuccessful. I exited the vehicle by climbing to the front passenger side. I then used the key in the driver door lock. Door still wouldn't unlock. Disconnected the battery cable to rule out the possibility the door locking mechanism was still energized. Still could not unlatch and open the driver door. There is likely a mechanical malfunction in the driver door automatic locking mechanism. Thankfully the inability to exit the vehicle was merely an aggravation. Obviously the same cannot be said if circumstances were such that a hasty vehicle exit was required. Dealer has not been notified about this trouble - vehicle is no longer under warranty and i have zero confidence in this dealerships' service department.

The center mounting of the frame has rusted so bad it broke and i had very unstable steering. The engine sits over this area. Vehicle is only 9 years old and in excellent condition. I have included pictures. The vehicle is unsafe to drive at this time.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford transit connect. While the vehicle was stationary, the driver's door would not open. As a result, the contact had to climb over the emergency brake and exit through the passenger door. The contact, an independent mechanic, stated that the generic electronic module that controlled all of the locking mechanisms in the vehicle failed to lock and unlock on more than one occasion while inside or outside of the vehicle. Furthermore, both of the rear sliding doors experienced intermittent failures. A dealer was not made aware of the failures. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 116,000.

Vehicle was involved a traffic accident on july 16,2018 and a contributing was a worn brake system by my employer's vehicle. The brake system needed repairs and it was brought supervisions attention on several occasions. I was terminated because of their vehicle being unsafe. The company that owns this vehicle is iocafano's catering service at 1739 sam rittenberg blvd.The vehicle was traveling toward i-95 headed to savannah georgia for a food delivery when it was involved in a rear end collison.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford transit connect. While driving, the front driver's door and sliding door erroneously locked. While the doors were locked, the instrument panel indicated that the doors were unlocked. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer (advantage ford, 1031 central ave, duarte, ca) were notified. The failure mileage was 47,000. The vin was unknown.

The vehicle has a very loud humming noise coming from the front end. I installed balanced brand new tires, car does not pull to one side or the other. Turn slightly to the left and the noise disappears. Once the wheel is straight the noise comes back very loud..

The power door actuator stops working or works but has a strange grinding sound. The power door lock will remain locked, cannot be unlocked manually, and requires the key fob unlock to exit the vehicle.

Car ran into guard rails on side of road turned i quarter over had to be totaled it may because of half shafts made in turkey that were lemons. *js

Truck will roll when parked. Luckily i have a good emergency brake. Truck was stationary on level street
