Tl* the contact owns a 2019 forest river fifth wheel sabre. The contact awoke while sleeping in the vehicle to a strong burning electrical smell. The contact could not initially find the source and opened the rv window and the room filled with smoke. The contact went outside and turned the propane gas tank to the rv off. She then heard a loud popping sound in the storage compartment right by the rv entrance. The noise was coming from the wall of the compartment. The contact unplugged the rv main electrical 50 amp power cord as precaution. The popping noise stopped. A second storage compartment located directly under the sleeping quarters was filled with smoke. The contact checked all of the wires and systems and found no source of the smoking and burning issue.
