As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 110, "tire selection and rims," and these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, "certification."

(forest river) is recalling certain 2003-2018 forest river berkshire, charleston, rockport, cedar creek, cherokee, riverstone, salem, sandpiper, sierra, vengeance, wildcat, wildwood, xlr boost, cargo mate, continental cargo, motorhomes, recreational trailers, toyhaulers, cargo trailers and restroom trailers and 2009-2018 coachmen mirada, pursuit, concord, leprechaun, freelander, orion and prism motorhomes, 2009-2017 coachmen apex and catalina recreational trailers, and 2013-2017 shasta oasis and revere recreational trailers, equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   On certain travel trailers, the certification tire and loading information placard does not contain correct tire size information. The labels incorrectly indicate a tire size as st215/75r15/d, while the correct tire size should be st205/75r15/d. This could result in the wrong tires being installed on the travel trailer, which would lead to poor towing/driving characteristics, and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: forest river will mail a corrected certification label to current owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a forest river dealer for installation.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly. Tl* the contact owns a 2018 forest river wildwood rv equipped with lionhead tires, tire line: castle rock, tire size: 235/80/r17, dot number: jumr. The contact stated while driving 50 mph, the passenger's side rear tire experienced a blowout. The contact pulled the vehicle to the side of the roadway and replaced the tire with the spare tire. The tire was original equipment. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,800.

The frame is cracking, tearing where rear excels attach .I noticed this condition on a walk thru before going on a trip.
