• Recall 132697 [USA]: The missing bearing race may cause premature hub bearing failure, possibly resulting in a separation of the hub from the axle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
  Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2019 coachmen catalina and apex travel trailers and forest river shasta, wildwood, salem, vibe, sierra, sandpiper, xlr and prime time travel trailers. The axles may be missing inner bearing races on the hubs, which can cause the bearing to burnout or cause the hub to overheat.
  forest river will notify owners, and dealers will replace the defective hubs with new hubs or replace the axles, free of charge. The recall began october 9, 2018.   Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2019 coachmen work and play and adrenaline recreational trailers, 2018-2019 forest river forester and xlr recreational trailers and 2018 forest river rockwood recreational trailers. The awning may deploy while moving.
  forest river will notify owners, and dealers will replace the awning controller, free of charge. The recall began september 13, 2018. • Recall 2018425 [Canada]: Structure
  On certain vehicles equipped with a solera smart arm awning, the awning may open with no action from an operator. If this happens while the vehicle is in motion, the awning may detach, creating a potential road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will replace the awning controller.

The contact stated that while driving at 15 mph, the contact became aware that the rear driver's side tire on the camper was turned into the wheel well. The contact pulled over and upon inspection of the camper he discovered that the driver side rear axle had fractured. The contact decided to leave the camper at the scene of the failure and drove to an independent mechanic where he purchased a new axle. The contact repaired the axle of the camper himself. The contact stated that the manufacturer listed the cargo weight capacity as 2,245 lbs however, his unloaded camper dry weight when measured came to 7,641 lb. The contact linked the weight discrepancy to the cause of the axle failure. The contact attempted to reach the manufacturer but was unable to. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.*dt
