• Recall 73087 [USA]: Extended operation of a leaking cooling unit could lead to a fire from gas which might escape.
  Monaco is recalling certain motor homes equipped with norcold refrigerators. A fatigue failure in the section of the cooling unit which contains the refrigerant could allow the liquid solution to slowly leak.
  monaco is working with norcold to repair these refrigerators. Norcold will provide thermal switch kits to owners along with the necessary forms and instructions. The recall began on august 29, 2008. Owners may contact norcold at 1-800-767-9101 or monaco at 1-800-685-6545.

• Recall 34134 [USA]: If a leak occurs and the unit is continually operated, hydrogen gas may be expelled and can be ignited, resulting in a fire, possibly causing serious injury or death.
  On certain motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers equipped with norcold refrigerator cooling units model numbers 1200lr and 1200rim, these refrigerators can experience low cycle fatigue failure which can lead to the liquid solution slowly leaking from the sealed, pressurized cooling unit through a small crack.
  norcold will notify its customers and provide a replacement cooling unit free of charge. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact norcold service center at 1-800-667-3005 or monaco at 574-862-7211.

• Recall 24 [USA]: Conditions can result in the bottoming out the suspension and amplification of the stress placed on the floor truss network. the additional stress can result in the fracture of welds securing the floor truss network system to the chassis frame rail and/or fracture of the floor truss network support system. the possibility exists that there could be damage to electrical wiring and/or fuel lines which could potentially lead to a fire.
  On certain class a motor homes, the floor truss network support system has a potential to weaken causing internal and external features to become misaligned. The affected vehicles are 1999 - 2003 class a motor homes manufactured on f53 20,500 pound gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr), ford chassis, and 2000-2003 class a motor homes manufactured on w-22 22,000 pound gvwr, workhorse chassis.

  On certain vehicles, harsh road input from severe road surfaces, which can be enhanced by fatigued springs, bad shocks, or an over-loaded condition on the rear axle could result in the bottoming out of the suspension and amplification of the stress place on the floor truss network. The additional stress can result in the fracture of welds securing the floor truss network support system to the chassis frame rail and/or fracture of the floor truss network support system. The possibility exists that there could be damage to electrical wiring and/or fuel lines which could lead to a fire. Moisture between insulated pieces of window glass became increasingly worse until we can no longer see our mirrors. This is on a 1999 holiday rambler admiral motor home. We tried to dry the window with a hair dryer which did not work.We had to remove the insulation seal between the panes to try to remove the moisture. That has left a dry surface but we can not see out the window. We have to keep the window open and the passenger has to look out the window to safely make lane changes or turns. We contacted holiday rambler to get the window mfr. And were told they had gone bankrupt. Have there been any other complaints regarding these windows? It is the front slider windows.
