Recall 115422 [USA]: Unstable entry and exit steps increase the risk of injury.
Allied recreation group, inc. (arg) is recalling certain model year 2010-2011 holiday rambler admiral, 2009-2014 holiday rambler ambassador, 2010 holiday rambler arista, 2010-2014 holiday rambler endeavor, 2009-2011 holiday rambler neptune, 2011-2014 holiday rambler vacationer, 2009-2011 monaco cayman, 2010-2014 monaco diplomat, 2014 monaco dynasty, 2009-2014 monaco knight, 2012-2013 monaco lapalma, 2009-2013 monaco monarch, 2009-2011 monaco riptide, 2008 safari passage, and 2008 safari simba motorhomes. The affected vehicles are equipped with certain lippert-brand coachstep double electric steps. These steps use a bolt to attach the fan gear assembly to the steps. This bolt may fracture allowing the fan gear to disengage from the steps. As a result, the steps may not remain in the expected position and may be unstable. arg will notify owners and dealers will install a retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, free of charge. The recall began on february 12, 2016. Owners may contact arg customer service number at 1-800-509-3417. Recall 91215 [USA]: Electrical overload of the transfer switch could lead to overheating, and a fire, increasing the risk of property damage, personal injury, or death.
Navistar is recalling certain model year 2008-2010 beaver and certain model year 2009-2011 monaco, and certain model year 2009-2011 holiday rambler recreational vehicles, manufactured from october 25, 2007, through august 26, 2010, equipped with iota its-50r 50 amp automatic transfer switches. The iota its-50r 50 amp automatic transfer switch bus bar and/or electrical connections may be inadequate to handle the electrical load. navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the iota its-50r transfer switch free of charge. The safety recall began on march 15, 2012. Recall 94670 [USA]: An impairment to a driver's ability to see the roadway could cause a vehicle crash potentially resulting in property damage, personal injury, or death.
Navistar is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 beaver, holiday rambler and monaco coach brand recreational vehicles manufactured from january 11, 2008, through april 15, 2011. The front windshield shade may separate from the cabin body without warning, possibly impairing the driver's ability to see the roadway. navistar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the shade mounting clips and repair the vehicles as necessary free of charge. Recall 2016019 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain motorhomes equipped with lippert components inc. Electric entry steps, an internal bolt on the steps that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps could fracture. This results in the fan gear disengaging from the steps, which could cause the steps to stop in an unexpected position and appear to be loose or unstable. If the steps become unstable, it could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.
Recall 2012064 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain motorhomes, an incorrect electrical connection at the transfer switch buss bar could cause the transfer switch to overheat and melt. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will replace the transfer switch.
Recall 2011406 [Canada]: Other
On certain motorhomes, the windshield privacy curtain/shade may separate from the cabin body and compromise the driver's ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will replace or relocate the windshield shade mounting clips and fasteners.
