Recall 2004208 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain vehicles, the positive battery cable between the battery and the starter may rub against an electrical ground cable between the starter and frame rail, possibly causing an electrical short and/or fire. Correction: dealers will inspect to determine if any chafing has occurred between the positive and negative cables. If there is no evidence of chafing, a saddle clamp will be installed to ensure cables do not rub. If there is evidence of chafing, the damaged cables will be replaced and the swivel saddle clamp installed.Recall 2004413 [Canada]: Structure
On certain vehicles, the sixteen (16) bolts that mount the front of the cab to two (2) cast mounting brackets were not properly torqued. Without proper assembly torque, these bolts can loosen during normal vehicle use and fall out. This may lead to the cab separating from the vehicle's chassis during a crash that may result in properly damage, personal injury or death. On certain vehicles, the universal joint between the front drive shaft and the front drive axle may come in contact with the engine oil filter causing a puncture and resulting in complete engine oil loss. Engine oil loss will result in the shutdown of the vehicle's engine without warning, possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: dealer will install a shorter oil filter and an adapter designed to ensure that only the shorter oil filter can be installed during future filter changes.Recall 2004208 [Canada]: Electrical
