Tl* the contact owns a 2009 jayco eagle fifth wheel. While the vehicle was connected to 120 volt power supply, the its-50r automatic failed melting numerous wires within the transfer switch. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed the vehicle was in need of a transfer switch replacement. The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic, who advised that the cover of the automatic transfer switch box needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was unavailable.
