• Recall 77925 [USA]: Extended operation of a leaking cooling unit could lead to a fire from gas which might escape.
  Jayco is recalling 74 my 1999-2001 designer fifth wheel motor homes equipped with norcold refrigerators. A fatigue failure in the section of the cooling unit which contains the refrigerant could allow the liquid solution to slowly leak.
  jayco is working with norcold to repair these refrigerators. Norcold will provide thermal switch kits to owners along with the necessary forms and instructions. The recall began on june 23, 2008. Owners may contact norcold at 1-800-767-9101 or jayco at 1-574-825-5861.

• Recall 38709 [USA]: Overheating could result in smoke or burning, and in an underhood fire.
  On certain motor homes built on ford chassis, the speed control deactivation switch may overheat.

• Recall 1923 [USA]: Extended operation of a leaking cooling unit in the ac electric mode can result in a fire.
  On certain travel trailers, motor homes, and fifth wheel campers equipped with norcold refrigerator cooling units, model numbers n841, n821, n641, and n621. These refrigerators can experience a cooling system leak caused by operation in the ac electric mode. If a leak occurs, the cooling performance of the refrigerator will deteriorate, requiring immediate replacement of the cooling unit.

• Recall 2413 [USA]: If this occurred, the section could fall to the pavement, potentially causing a crash for following vehicles.
  Vehicle description: travel and fifth wheel trailers. The fasteners used on the underfloor can either come loose or pull through the underfloor causing portions or all of a section of underfloor to detach from the vehicle.

Dt*: the contact stated there are no problems with the camper. There is a nhtsa recall, #01v251000 on the vehicle regarding the structure. The parts needed to repair the vehicle are not available at the local dealership. The manufacturer confirmed the parts are not available.

The refrigerator was inoperative, there was a recall regarding the issue, however the recall was for similar makes/models. *jb

Vehicle is a ford e350 van chassis. Total complete tread separation occurred. Temp outside 85 degrees. Only sidewalls remain. I have the remains and pictures. Ford and firestone were not interested in replacing the remaining tires.*ak (dot number: vd1l 1xd tiresize: lt22575r16)

While traveling on highway right rear wheel bolt that holds spring came out of housing, about 3 1/4 of the way. Consumer states could have lost whole axle. Please provide any further information. *ak

With gross weight of 14,050 is lbs motorhome cannot haul canned goods/food/clothing, and camping gear since these items would make vehicle overweight. *ak

The consumer received recall notice 01v-251, and wanted the dealer to tow his motor home and repair it, however the dealer refused to tow the motor home, he told them to bring the motor home in so he can fix the recall. *yh
