• Recall 127484 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.Nhtsa.Gov/odi/rcl/2017/rmisc-17v746-9524.Pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   On certain motor homes built on chevrolet chassis, the safety belt buckles may not latch or unlatch.
  general motors is conducting this recall (please see 05v558000) and will inspect the buckles and, if found to be inoperative, the entire buckle assembly would be replaced. • Recall 61237 [USA]: If a separation occurred and the hood of the vehicle were open, fragments from the accumulator could cause injury to people in the immediate area. the presence of this crack or fractured surface could allow the hydraulic fluid to leak from the accumulator circuit of the booster assembly. the loss of fluid would cause increased steering and braking effort and a crash may occur without prior warning.
  On certain motor homes built on chevrolet chassis and equipped with bosch hydro-boost brake assemblies, the hydraulic brake booster pressure accumulator may crack and separate from the hydro-boost assembly during normal operating conditions.
  chevrolet is conducting the owner notification and remedy for this campaign. Chevrolet will test the hydro-boost assembly for functional operation of the two-function valve. • Recall 60320 [USA]: These hot particles may ignite the air filter element with the potential for air induction system damage or underhood fire.
  On certain motor homes built on ford e-series chassis, the air filter element material process resulted in an air filter paper element that can smolder or burn. This change in filter paper composition, combined with the configuration of the air induction system, may allow hot carbon particles to contact the air filter element during certain driving conditions that create hot particles.

  On certain vehicles equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage.   On certain motorhomes, the trailer hitch receiver reinforcing plates were omitted during vehicle assembly. Under certain conditions, this could cause the hitch to fail during usage, possibly allowing the towed unit to separate from the towing vehicle. Was running propane heater; after 2-3 hour span the carbon monoxide detector went off. Continues to go off after 2-3 hours running propane heater. Does not go off when running generator or air conditioner; only with propane heater. *tr

Purchased brand new rv, went "dry camping" (without utilities) within 1 week of possession; on generator, microwave lost lots of time, causing meals to burn, etc.; over last 10 months dealership unsuccessfully replaced (they say) 3 times; rv mfg refusing since dec. To do more; told by generator mfg i have to pay "large sums" to find out what's wrong and get fixed then apply to rv mfg for warranty reimbursement -- not acceptable, frustrated, sick and tired of not being able to use brand new, expensive purchase. *jb
