Recall 230192 [USA]: Increased propane pressure can enlarge the flames in gas appliances, increasing the risk of a fire.
Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2017-2018 jayco designer, 2017-2021 eagle ht, eagle, jay feather, jay flight slx, jay flight, north point, octane superlite, pinnacle, white hawk, 2017-2020 eagle ht, 2018-2021 jay flight bungalow, 2017-2019 octane, and 2019-2020 eagle htx travel trailers and fifth wheels equipped with a winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulator. The regulator may fail, causing an increase in propane pressure.
dealers will replace the regulator and test the propane system for leaks, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed august 3, 2021. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Issue: on certain rv trailers, the propane (lp) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: this recall only affects trailers equipped with a winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety risk: unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective action: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (lp) regulator.

The contact just bought the vehicle and stated that the outdoor lighting flickered and the sound system malfunctioned, indicating a possible electrical failure. The contact called the warranty company, but they refused to send for the vehicle to be serviced. Furthermore, the contact was using the rv as a live-in vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and e-mail, but the contact had not received a response. The dealer (tampa rv, 4656 mcintosh rd, dover, fl 33527, (813) 659-0008) was also contacted, but had not called back. The vin was unknown.

The dealer did not know how long it would be before parts would be available. The contact called jayco and was informed that parts were on backorder across the u.S. The manufacturer was notified.
