  • Recall 2008232 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain fifth wheel trailers, the isolating rubber boot, located atop electrical connectors within the towing harness, may not have been installed correctly during vehicle assembly. As such, depending which connector becomes exposed and shorts to ground, 1). An electrical short could occur, which could result in a vehicle fire, 2). Loss of driving lights may result in the driver's intentions to turn or brake not being conveyed clearly to other road users, as well as making the vehicle less conspicuous during hours of reduced visibility, 3). Loss of trailer braking function, which could extend stopping distances. All these conditions could result in property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: dealers will inspect the rubber caps, and correct as needed.

  • Recall 2017649 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain vehicles equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate.
