While filling holding tank, it holds 420 pounds and it slides in on a small ledge. The screws that are designed to hold tank in. Tqank had 6 screws missing on the back, and 5 on the front, and the rest of the screws were half screwed in. Ledge is called a z-bar, with two straps to hold tank in place. Consumer said whole tank fell out, and broke the on and off valve, and drained the tank. If this would had happen on the highway someone would have gotten killed. *ak

Nhtsa id 00v169000 calls for adding 180 lbs to the front a-frame to resolve trailer weight imbalance when tanks behind rear axle are left full. I experienced the excessive sway - resulting from 30-40 mph crosswinds - referenced in the recall, immediatley following delivery on the trailer (fully empty tanks). Adding an anti-sway device to my existing weight distribution hitch eliminated the excessive sway. Further, maintaining a 1/2 to 3/4 full freshwater tank (directly behind rear axle) provide diminished "push" when overtaken by a passing semi-tractor trailer. Testing the recall recommendation, adding the additional 180 lbs to the front a-frame failed to provide any further improvements to towability or diminished sway. A better recommended solution to this problem in my experience would be the (manditory) use of a trailer hitch weight distribution/anti-sway device combination.*ak

The information that was placed on the side of the trailer stated the gvwr was 3175 and the gawr was 2700 the tire size that was recommend was 175/80r13c on a 13 x 4 rim at 50 psi, the tires which were installed ny the manufacturer were rated at 1360 at 50 psi.
