• Recall 127521 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.Nhtsa.Gov/odi/rcl/2017/rmisc-17v746-9524.Pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   jayco will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on january 15, 2018. • Recall 66607 [USA]: Loose hitch bolts could result in the hitch separating from the frame, creating a road hazard increasing the risk of a crash.
  Jayco is recalling certain model year 2011 seneca class c motorhomes, series 36fk and 37fs, manufactured from may 18, 2011, through july 13, 2011. These vehicles may have insufficiently torqued bolts attaching the rear hitch to the frame.
  dealers will inspect and tighten up the hitch bolts free of charge. The safety recall began on september 6, 2011. Owners may contact jayco at 1-800-283-8267.

  On certain vehicles equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly. • Recall 2011319 [Canada]: Other
  On certain motorhomes, the bolts attaching the rear trailer hitch to the frame may not have received adequate tightening torque during vehicle assembly. If the bolts loosen, the trailer hitch could separate from the vehicle. A hitch assembly or a towed unit separating from the towing vehicle could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will tighten the trailer hitch fasteners to specifications.
