• Recall 127551 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.Nhtsa.Gov/odi/rcl/2017/rmisc-17v746-9524.Pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   jayco will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on january 15, 2018. • Recall 104866 [USA]: Corrosion due to water infiltration could result in an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 seneca motorhomes, manufactured may 7, 2012, through february 12, 2014, and equipped with an entrance door that includes a trimark keyless entry system. Water infiltration into the back of the trimark keypad at the entrance door may cause corrosion on the electrical components of the keypad.
  jayco will notify owners, and dealers will add a 5amp fuse to protect against a short circuit, and replace the keypad free of charge. The recall began in september 2014. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

• Recall 103389 [USA]: If the microwave starts on its own and there are contents inside, a fire could result.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 seneca, pinnacle, and eagle premier, and 2014 precept motorhomes and fifth wheels manufactured january 14, 2013, through august 26, 2013, and equipped with electrolux/frigidaire kg series microwaves, models cfmv152clb and cfmv154cls, manufactured january 27, 2013, through april 10, 2013, in the serial number range kg30607951 through kg31600670. In the affected vehicles, the microwave may start on its own and begin heating when unattended.
  jayco will notify owners, and authorized electrolux service technicians will replace the membrane/keypad component, free of charge. The recall will begin on may 7, 2014. Owners may contact jayco customer service by calling 1-800-283-8267. Note: owners are advised to leave the microwave unplugged when not in use.

• Recall 2017649 [Canada]: Accessories
  On certain vehicles equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly.   On certain motorhomes, components in the entry keypad (located in the entrance door) may corrode. This could result in an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will add a 5 amp fuse to protect the circuit. A repair for the keypad is still under development.

• Recall 2014138 [Canada]: Accessories
  On certain travel trailers and motorhomes equipped with frigidaire kg series microwaves, a defect in the microwave oven keypad could cause the oven to activate without pressing any keys. This could result in excessive heat, smoke or possibly a fire. Correction: dealers will replace affected keypads. In the interim, consumers should not store anything in the microwave.
