Recall 2018184 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain vehicles built with a cummins isx12 engine, the cab lift hydraulic hoses may not have been routed or secured properly. Over time, if the hoses were to come in contact with the starter power stud or connected ring terminals, the hoses could wear. This may cause fluid leakage and/or electrical arcing between the starter power stud and the damaged hose, creating an increased risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect the vehicles to ensure proper cab lift hose routing and clearance, replace damaged hoses, and add hose chafe guards where necessary.
Recall 2017609 [Canada]: Other
On certain vehicles, over time, the relief valve of the fire pump may fail due to the retaining ring not having adequate corrosion resistance. If the relief valve were to fail, the fire pump would not be able to build adequate water pressure, which in the case of a fire, may increase the risk of injury during firefighting operations. Correction: dealers or kme technicians will inspect, and replace retaining ring as necessary.
