Issue : on certain school buses, the power cut-off switch for the 12 v electrical system could fail. If this happens, the bus could suddenly lose all power, including a loss of steering assist and a loss of brakes. Safety risk: a sudden loss of steering assist and brakes could create the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: lion will notify owners in writing and provide you with instructions for inspecting the power cut-off switch for the 12 v electrical system. If you detect a problem with the switch, you should stop using the bus immediately and contact lion. The company will also schedule an appointment with you to improve the safety of the vehicle by making modifications to the 12 v electrical system.
