Recall 132852 [USA]: If the trailer separates from the tow vehicle, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Livin' lite recreational vehicles (livin' lite) is recalling certain 2017-2019 livin' lite camplite travel trailers, models 21bhs, 21rbs, 23rks and 23rls. The drawbar of the trailer may crack resulting in the trailer separating from the tow vehicle. livin' lite will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the welds, as necessary, and install an additional tube to reinforce the drawbar, free of charge. The recall began october 26, 2018. Owners may contact livin' lite customer service at 1-800-768-4016 extension 154 or 153. owners may also contact the national highway traffic safety administration vehicle safety hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (tty 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.Safercar.Gov.
Recall 2021536 [Canada]: Accessories
Issue: on certain rv trailers, the propane (lp) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: this recall only affects trailers equipped with a winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety risk: unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective action: kz rv will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer, to replace the propane (lp) regulator.
Recall 2018522 [Canada]: Structure
Certain travel trailers may have been built with a tongue (a-frame) that could crack. In the worst case, this could cause the trailer to separate from the tow vehicle, creating the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will reinforce the tongue (a-frame) as necessary.
