  • Recall 2021750 [Canada]: Label
Issue: this recall affects certain buses altered by dynamic specialty vehicles to carry wheelchair passengers. After the buses were modified, the company didn't apply an altered vehicle label with an updated cargo-carrying capacity. As a result, a person might overload the bus with cargo. This could lead to poor handling or a tire failure. Safety risk: poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: dynamic specialty vehicles will send each owner an altered vehicle label with an updated cargo-carrying capacity. If you would like help to install it, you should contact dynamic specialty vehicles.

  • Recall 2019654 [Canada]: Electrical

As a result, the wiring could overheat before the circuit breaker trips. Safety risk: an electrical circuit that overheats could increase the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: micro bird will notify owners by mail and provide them with a replacement circuit breaker that has a lower current rating, and the directions for installing it.

  • Recall 2018690 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
Certain buses built on a gm or ford chassis may have been equipped with defective go-es foldaway seats. When the back seat cushion is rotated from the stowed position to the upright position, the seat back may not remain locked into place, which could increase the risk of injury to seat occupant in the event of a crash. Correction: dealers will inspect, and if necessary, repair and re-inspect the seat using the provided procedure.

  • Recall 2018405 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
On certain buses, the passenger shoulder belt anchorage plate(s) may not be attached correctly. In the event of a crash, the belt anchorage plate may become partially or totally detached, reducing the capacity of the shoulder belt to retain the passenger, resulting in an increased risk of injury or fatality. Correction: dealers will inspect, and if necessary, re-install the shoulder belt anchorage plate using the correct procedure.

  • Recall 2018385 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
