Nissan altima. Consumer states problem with vehicle randomly cutting off while driving down the highway. *tgw the consumer stated on several occasions, the vehicle wouldn't start and when it did start, the service engine light illuminated. The consumer stated after doing some research, she discovered a recall had been issued. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and upon diagnosis it was determined the problem was with the crank angle sensor. The consumer was informed her vehicle was not a part of the recall. The consumer contacted nissan and was informed the vehicle was no longer under warranty and that the she had never taken her vehicle to a nissan dealership for any type of maintenance, and therefore they would not be able to offer any assistance. *jb
