  The engine ecm unit may have an error with its software. This could under certain exceptional engine start circumstances result in the ecm setting an incorrect engine throttle valve position. When the engine speed is in excess of 3 600 rpm the customer may briefly experience an unexpected acceleration. However the driver can counter this by applying the brakes.

• Recall R/2015/133 [UK]: Engine push start switch may malfunction
  On affected models with a push start ignition switch the switch may remain in the pressed position and not return after switching the engine on. If the vehicle continues to be driven in this condition the emergency engine stop function may operate and cause the engine to unintentionally stop.

• Recall R/2016/008 [UK]: Engine may stall and/or fail to restart
  The engine ignition coil may not be to the correct specification. The internal electrical components of the coil may short circuit resulting in an engine misfire. In the worst case this short circuit may cause a fuse inside the power distribution module (ipdm) to fail stopping power to the ignition relay. In this condition the engine may stall and prevent the customer from being able to restart the engine.

• Recall 2017566 [Canada]: Airbag
  On certain vehicles, a bad connection at the side airbag sensor connector could cause a momentary communication loss from the side airbag sensor to the airbag control unit (acu). This would put the system in a backup state, lowering the impact threshold required for a side airbag deployment. If a door is being closed with force while the system is in this backup state, this could cause an unintended curtain airbag, seat-mounted side airbag and seat belt pretensioner deployment in a non-warranted (non-impact) situation, which would increase the risk of injury to occupants. Correction: dealers will install a jumper harness and replace the side airbag sensor with a new one.

• Recall 2015366 [Canada]: Powertrain
  On certain vehicles, the driver's foot could contact the edge of the center console lower trim panel, which could impede smooth accelerator pedal operation. The panel edge could also catch the driver's shoe, potentially resulting in a delay in the driver being able to shift their foot from the accelerator to the brake pedal. This could increase stopping distances, potentially resulting in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will modify the lower trim panel.

  On certain vehicles, the driver's (frontal) airbag inflator was built with an incorrect part which could cause the inflator to rupture during a deployment. In a crash, this may cause airbag components to separate, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: dealers will replace the driver's (frontal) airbag inflator.
