• Recall 18112 [USA]: The safety belts would not provide adequate protection to an occupant in a vehicle crash.
  The front safety belt buckle release buttons can break. These red plastic release buttons are marked "press." if a button breaks, pieces can fall into the buckle assembly causing the buckle to operate improperly.
  owners should promptly check the condition and operation of both front safety belt buckles and carefully inspect the red release button for any breaks or cracks. They should ensure that both buckles are operating properly by inserting each latch plate into its buckle, tugging on the belt to make sure the latch is securely locked, and then pressing the release button. The latch plate should pop out of the buckle when the button is pressed. If either release button shows a sign of breaking or cracking or if either buckle fails to operate properly, owners should promptly contact their authorized dealer to schedule an appointment to have the buckle replaced or repaired free of charge.

Frame side rails on truck near rear suspension are corroded and falling apart. Last years safety inspection, it was noted. This year , rusted through side wall and part of bottom on drivers side. Passenger side not rusted through yet. No recall for frame repair found on manufacturer's site. *tr

Consumer was driving out of the parking lot, went to make right turn, and steering wheel wouldn't turn. Consumer hit a parked car. An independent mechanic told consumer that vehicle needed a steering gear box. *ak

Seat belts repaired prior to recall .

Speedometer failed.

Dealership is not answering letter for recall and hung up on the consumer. Consumer states he does not own nor has he ever owned this vehicle.*jb

Speedometer needle has melted because of heat and you do not get an accurate reading of the speed you are traveling.*ak consumer feels the needle should be metal and not plastic. *slc
