I have made prior reports in reference to airbag non deployment /seat belts not locking in 3 head on collisions from 2004 which left me disabled i was an rn for 20 yrs in 2 subsequent head on collisions no airbag deployment in my 1999 nissan pathfinder still no recall amazing !!!! I however have noted numerous recalls for other vehicles manufactured in japan for air bags including sentras multiple manufacturers had same air bag systems a disgrace this issue is known however it is left to the discretion of the corporation to voluntarily recall what is the purpose of nhtsa i thought it was to insure corporate mv manufacturers to comply with safety for the people /enforce safety issue compliance. *tr

Engine missed off and on after 30k miles. I thougt it might be injectors so kept adding cleaners to gas tank. At 74000 miles diagnosed problem as engine coils and replace all 6 to cure missing and hesitation problem.

The sunvisor bracket on my nissan altima broke, causing the sun visor to fall on my arms while i was driving. I happened to be driving on a residential road with a 25 mph speed limit which prevented any accident. While looking for a replacement, i was told by the parts dealer that they get a lot of people looking for the part and nissan only sells the entire assembly at a inflated price. I aslo was told by several auto salvage businesses that the sunvisor breaks on this vehicle all the time and that they can't keep any inventory on hand because of the high demand.*ak

I am extremely concerned with what i'm interpreting as to reporting of ewr & safety recalls mandates here in the usa i pray i misinterpreted the documents could this be right re.... Repairs for complaints only reportable if paid for under warranty / manufacturer x supplied parts for vehicles in the usa but identical vehicles not sold here even though part x is in usa vehicles & was recalled elsewhere are not reportable here & the #s of deaths pertaining to parts/ vehicles are not included ? Unless they meet a certain # quarterly retrospective to the last 9 years even if they do in fact meet the #s but are titled under a subsidiary of the same vehicle/manufacturer/&/or part please tell me i am misinterpreting these issues which appear to contradict nprm guidelines secondary to these reporting guidelines i pray i have incorrectly interpreted please clarify. *tr

Nissan/infiniti -issues im sickened when will anything be done with the known problems with nissan north america vehicles -why has nothing been done! Eg..Airbags,seatbelts, structure, steering, brake systems, acceleration problems, electrical, fires, seats, rollovers,& numerous valid safety issues nissan has extremely low recalls &/or acknowledgement of these numerous consumer complaints despite recalls for similar issues in foreign countries *** consumers please note the first letter of your vin # represents --- the location where your vehicle was manufactured eg j= japan as per dmv i would assume #s reflect parts from more than 1 location upon much investigation i see ignorance of the reported problems & correction of these problems i looked into ewr (early warning reports????)info 4 nissan & see numerous injury/death reports relating to issues previously listed however the complaints don't reflect recalls or safety bulletins why??????? I don't even see my disabling injury reflected why????? Who would even know 2 look at ewr information you would hope that these #s would reflect at least service bulletins &/or safety recalls however much of this is done on an optional basis of the manufacturer unless mandated by the nhtsa in the interim it is the consumers who suffer disgracefully to say the least!!!!!!! *tr

Airbags/safety restraints/on-off switches & other modifications i am again stating great concern over legal regulations regarding vehicle/&/or components -modifications/complaints/problemsetc & the reporting statutes thereto as i am perceiving them from frm nrm & various sites i read that vehicle modifications of safety standards inclusive of airbag on-off switches &/or deactivation was not reported to nhtsa until april of 2001 & therefore would not be accessible to consumers even if it was voluntarily submitted by applicant however if performed by vehicle dealership would be on record & subsequent buyer would be unaware & would not reflect on vin search however dealership should & does have responsibility on resale to inspect said vehicle & bring it to federal standards how do i search a dealership to find modifications they authorized or made to a vehicle supposedly listed in the federal registry of which i was the 2nd owner & received an urgent recall card notification specifying modification 120705 i did respond numerous x to them & nissan consumer affairs & blatantly told there were no recalls /service bulletins or anything else & i received this card in error i need answers & am disgusted at the runaround & deception now 3 major collisions later with no airbag deployment & seat belt failure as well as numerous other issues i am begging for the truth enough nonsense !!! My life has been destroyed i will get to the bottom of this i will not stop no one else shall endure '!@#$% due to a lack of information they are entitled to and tired of these big corporations not having to abide by every citizens law i pray our president obama will put a stop to the corporate corruption .....We the taxpayers cant keep funding the grotesque abuse which continues to perpetuate corporate america has to be held accountable just as we the people are the law is the law for us all!!!!!!! *tr
