Safety risk: if the aeb system activates with braking when no potential collision is present, it could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the company will send a letter to owners to explain this issue. Owners will be informed that a software update is available for the aeb system. This update can be installed at a dealership at no charge to the owner.
