• Recall 32897 [USA]: This can result in a fire in the engine compartment.
  On certain transit buses equipped with detroit diesel series 40 engines, the turbocharger compressor wheel and backplate can break allowing lubricating oil to spill onto the engine.
  novabus in conjunction with detroit dieselwill inspect and replace the turbocharger, as necessary, to ensure that affected units have a boreless turbocharger compressor wheel and reinforced backplate and attachment installed (please see 04e051). • Recall 2001071 [Canada]: Structure
  On certain low-floor buses equipped with window stoppers which are designed to be released manually in emergencies in order to allow the window to be opened to full width for passenger egress, these window stoppers may wear or become damaged thereby allowing the window to open fully. There is the risk of passengers falling out of the window if this should occur. Correction: a new version window stopper will be installed on affected vehicles.
