Recall 2022024 [Canada]: Engine
Issue: on certain snowmobiles, the throttle safety switch may not work properly when you release the throttle lever. If this happens and the throttle sticks open, you could lose control of the snowmobile. Safety risk: a loss of control can create the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, adjust the throttle control assembly. To reduce the safety risk, polaris recommends that you should not use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.
Recall 2021794 [Canada]: Engine
Issue: on one snowmobile, the throttle cable could separate at the adjuster joint. If this happens, you could lose control of the throttle. Safety risk: a throttle cable that separates could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the affected snowmobile has not been sold to a retail customer. Polaris will instruct the dealer to replace the throttle cable before it is sold.
